Safety & Compliance
Our commitment is to keep consistently review any safety and security risks to ensure we maintain our "Platinum" status rating.
This certification was proudly awarded to AirX, mainly through the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and the ARGUS Platinum Rating. AirX maintains great pride in ensuring that its operational procedures are in line with the latest European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations and protocols.
Launched in 2002, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO™) was developed by the business aviation community and is designed to promote the use of high quality operating practices by:
• Establishing a framework for effective safety and operational processes
• Providing tools to facilitate the implementation of best practices
• Delivering a Safety Management System (SMS) appropriate to all operational profiles.
As the globally recognized voluntary safety standard, IS-BAO helps operators apply industry best practices by challenging them to review and compare their safety-related policies, processes and procedures, and then make improvements, elevating them to the worldwide standard for business aviation.
Similar to an ISO-9000 standard of practice, IS-BAO is specifically formulated for business aviation and accepted worldwide as the benchmark for safety and efficiency in business aircraft operations. Hundreds of operators on all continents around the world have adopted IS-BAO as the definitive standard for flight operations.
The ARGUS CHEQ program is the industry’s most respected, unbiased, and detailed thirdparty charter operator analysis. The CHEQ due diligence system offers charter operators, buyers, and passengers around the world the confidence and peace-of-mind desired for their upcoming flight.
The CHEQ program is the only rating system in the business jet charter arena that uses a proprietary algorithm to score each operator based on their fact-based historical incident and accident information.
The main components that comprise the ARGUS rating include historical safety analysis, aircraft validation, pilot background checks, and onsite safety audits (for Platinum and Gold Plus operator ratings). This process results in the award of one of four potential rating levels.
A Platinum Rating from ARGUS is the highest, most prestigious level of ARGUS Ratings. It is bestowed to an exclusive group of experienced operators who exceed the rigorous criteria encompassing the extensive historical, background, and onsite safety audit benchmarks.
Satisfy all the requirements of the Gold Rating, in addition to passing the ARGUS Platinum onsite safety audit and demonstrating a well-developed Safety Management System (SMS), Emergency Response Plan, and well-documented maintenance and operational records
